Working policy

Respectful by design.

The public site does not need to sell personal information or collect more data than required to answer messages, fulfill orders, manage subscriptions, and protect the site.

Information you provide

Contact forms, purchase and subscriber details, shipping information, color preferences, optional display names are supplied voluntarily for the service requested.

Optional Google sign-in

If you choose Google sign-in, Google sends an identity confirmation containing your Google account identifier, email address and its verification status. We store that identifier and email in your private studio account to recognize you on later visits. You choose the public name shown beside your bids and comments. Connecting Google to an existing account requires signing in to that studio account first.

Your Google password is never shared with the studio. We do not request access to your Gmail messages, contacts or Google Drive files. Choosing Google sign-in does not sign you up for marketing emails; your email choices remain separate. For account or data questions, contact will@willstuckenberg.com.

Collector profiles and studio messages

You choose whether your collection is public or private. A public collection can be viewed by other collectors and visitors. A private collection is visible only to you and Stuckenberg Studios. Your display name and optional profile picture still appear with your posts, comments and bids. You can choose whether others may comment on your collection.

Use Message the Studio in your account to contact Stuckenberg Studios privately. Collection pages, the Glass Lounge and the Studio Insiders Club use posts, hearts and comments for conversation. Customer-to-customer private messaging is not offered.

Closing your account

Canceling a paid membership does not close your free account or change your marketing choices. To close your account, use My Account and confirm the request with an emailed code. Choose to remove your community contributions or leave them under “Former collector.” Kept posts retain their text and attached photos, including any personal details you put in them. Profile details, profile photos, map pins, color votes and your hearts are removed from active records.

We retain required payment, order, subscription and delivery records privately for business obligations and fulfillment of already-paid shipments. Essential transaction messages may continue; marketing stops when the account closes. Payments still being verified or unsettled auction obligations may need resolution before closure. Protected backups may contain older records until their retention period ends. Contact the studio for help with data requests.

Payments

PayPal handles payment credentials. This site does not request or store your PayPal password or full card number.

Public recognition

Your chosen public name, profile picture and membership level appear with your public activity, including posts, comments and bids. Paid support levels are displayed automatically while the membership is active. Your collection can remain private; your real name, email and billing details stay private. Separate supporter-name acknowledgments use previously granted consent.

Micro Marble Map

The detailed map loads map tiles from OpenStreetMap, which receives ordinary connection information including your IP address and the areas viewed. Searches and approximate state/province pin counts are calculated on this website. Map use does not request GPS permission.

Adding a collector pin is optional. Your chosen profile name, support badge, approximate area and note are public. We round pin coordinates to half-degree areas and never use a shipping address or GPS location. Postal lookup sends only the country and postal code to Zippopotam.us, using GeoNames place data. The map does not retain the raw postal code on a pin. You can place a pin manually instead and remove your pin from the map at any time. Removal clears its location and note from the active map records; protected backups may retain earlier records until they expire. Public map comments remain separate and can be removed through the Lounge controls.

Local daylight and weather scenes

Your browser asks FreeIPAPI for an approximate location based on your IP address, then asks MET Norway for a forecast near that location. These services receive your IP address; MET Norway also receives rounded coordinates. We do not request GPS access. This feature does not store your IP address, city or postcode. It keeps only rounded coordinates and a small forecast in your browser, reusing the location for six hours and the forecast for at least thirty minutes. Sunrise and sunset are calculated on your device. IP location can reflect your internet provider or VPN rather than your actual town. You can correct the town using Local daylight in the footer. That optional choice stores the town label and rounded coordinates in this browser until you clear it or return to automatic IP location; it does not create a map pin or change your account, shipping or public profile. The chosen town is used for both daylight and forecast artwork. No GPS access is requested.

If a lookup fails, the site uses your device's time and clear-weather artwork. The light/dark control and four scene selectors remain available. A selected scene can be tapped again to return to automatic daylight. Clearing the site's browser storage removes the saved location, forecast and appearance preferences.

Weather data from MET Norway, licensed under CC BY 4.0, is interpreted into clear, rainy or stormy conditions to choose the site’s artwork.

Welcome invitation and email choices

We save a small preference in this browser to remember that our welcome invitation has already appeared. It contains no email address and is not shared with advertisers. Signed-in customers do not receive this invitation. Clearing site data, private browsing, a different device or browser storage limits may remove this preference. If you choose to join studio emails, we use your email address and selected topics to send a confirmation and the updates you request. You can change your choices or unsubscribe using the links in our emails.

Color votes

Registered customers may save three color combinations and an optional favorite color. Updating replaces the earlier vote. Charts show combined results without account names or email addresses. These choices do not subscribe you to studio emails.

Arcade scores

When you submit an arcade score, your chosen player name and score are stored for the shared game leaderboard and are visible to other visitors. Anyone can play and submit a name without a customer account. These entries are not automatically linked to a customer account; contact the studio to request removal of a score. Local game settings and progress may also be saved in your browser.

Before launch

This working policy must be reviewed and completed with final hosting, analytics, email, payment, retention, cookie, shipping, and legal details before the public launch.
